The Kuaotunu Library

The Kuaotunu Library is now open – by the tennis courts on the way to Luke’s kitchen. People are welcome to come and visit and register their membership ($10 per annum per family).

Books from the existing hall library have been relocated along with donated books from Mercury Bay Library, local authors and residents. It is planned to hold a book sale of any surplus books with all proceeds going toward the new library running costs.

COVID-19 – Kuaotunu Campground is now Open with the Government COVID-19 response Level 1

9th of June 2020: With Level 1 the campground is OPEN and all are welcome.

There is still a Global Pandemic going on. Please consider the Level 1 guidelines (AKA ‘rules’):

• If you’re sick, stay home. Don’t go to work or school. Don’t socialise.
• If you have cold or flu symptoms call your doctor or Healthline and make sure you get tested.
• Wash your hands. Wash your hands. Wash your hands.
• Sneeze and cough into your elbow, and regularly disinfect shared surfaces.
• If you are told by health authorities to self-isolate you must do so immediately.
• If you’re concerned about your wellbeing or have underlying health conditions, work with your GP to understand how best to stay healthy.
